CAI Engaging Citizenship Luncheon

CAI Engaging Citizenship Luncheon

The Center for American Institutions Arizona State University is committed to civic education for students and the larger community.

The mission of the CAI Engaging Citizenship Luncheons is to provide a deeper understanding of critical political and cultural issues confronting our nation. These meetings provide an opportunity for attendees from the community to deepen their understanding of issues including free speech, elections, constitutional rights, education, biotechnology and religious freedom.

Luncheons are designed for active attendee engagement with topic introductions by an ASU faculty member and/or subject matter expert, small group discussions, presentation of discussion outcomes and general discussion.

Topics for fall 2022 include:

Nov. 1, 2022: "A Blueprint for Reclaiming American Self-Governance" ft. Tony Woodlief, political scientist and author

Dec. 6, 2022: "Is Euthanasia a Right?" ft. Alexandra Snyder, CEO of Life Legal Defense Fund
