The Physical Features of Place
MFA Thesis Exhibition of Molly Koehn
"The Physical Features of Place" is an exploration of the human compulsion to meddle with and adjust the environment. Through surveying desert regions, Koehn investigates human alterations to the land through urbanization and landscaping. "The Physical Features of Place" offers an opposing narrative to the solid and stable architecture of cities through weaving, drawing, and sculptural installation.
