Polarization and Journalism: A Binational Conversation

Student journalist stands behind camera in newsroom

We face a contradictory scenario. Now more than ever, as we confront a pandemic, an economic crisis and a reconception of our collective normal, we need rigorous, transparent and brave journalism. At the same time, political polarization and the culture of disinformation on social media platforms threaten to discredit all news organizations equally.

How can we restore confidence in journalism and the notion of shared narratives and objective information? Join a binational conversation about the future of media in a polarized world.

This virtual event is part of ASU's Convergence Lab series and will be held in Spanish.
