Polytechnic Edible Plant Walk

The ASU Polytechnic campus has a diversity of native desert plants. These plants offer lessons for living sustainably in the desert for how they use water, maximize shade and conserve energy. During this walk we will identify the common edible desert plants growing on campus and learn how and when to harvest for food. April is when many of the native trees are flowering so taste testing will be included!
