The Popper Project: Part II

Join the cello studio of Tom Landschoot for Part II of The Popper Project, a survey of the complete etudes of David Popper!

For over a century, the Popper etudes have been established as a staple in cello pedagogy. These short works challenge cellists to the capacity of some of the most difficult repertoire available exploring the range of techniques that make the cello a virtuosic instrument and making them essential for the advanced cellist. In the words of Janos Starker, "There is nothing wrong in your playing that 40 Popper Etudes won't cure!"
