Practical Solutions for Exploration Learning Online

Learn to create successful virtual classroom Exploration Learning experiences in this 2-hour webinar hosted by ASU’s Interplanetary Initiative

Exploration Learning includes inquiry, project-based learning and student-led studies to teach critical analysis of content, the research process, problem-solving and professional perseverance. Featured presenters will share their online active learning techniques and resources, including inquiry methodology, implementation of group thought processes online, virtual lab solutions and collaboration and peer evaluation methods.

Jon Harrison
Presenting: Strategies for Teaching Principles and Methods of Physiological Research Online 
Professor in the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University and environmental physiologist who studies how insects function, interact with their environment and evolve. Jon’s Animal Physiology Lab class showcases a combination of Labster simulations, at-home Arduino-based experiments and writing of a NIH-style research proposal by student groups.
