Dr. Amber Tabares, naturopathic physician with Better World Medicine, presents the first of the fall 2022 Humanities Lecture Series events with a presentation titled "The Practice of Naturopathic Community Medicine in Domestic Violence."

Learn to understand the definition and dynamics of domestic violence. Tabares will identify common myths; consider impacts on victims, children and the community; and discuss the naturopathic approach to primary medical care for survivors in an acute setting.

This presentation is part of the Humanities Lecture Series coordinated by the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts at ASU Downtown Phoenix campus, meant to draw students, faculty and the greater community in conversation about current research, practice and topics of mutual interest.
