PRISMS Contemporary Music Festival 2016 - NOISE SPECTRA Concert 3

Concert Poster

The seventh annual Contemporary Music Festival focuses on Spectral and Noise Music. Join the Arizona Contemporary Music Ensemble students for this final concert in the Festival!

The ASU Contemporary Music Festival is an annual event offering the highest quality performances of experimental music in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The festivals comprise themed concerts and showcase music that is rarely performed along with pre-concert talks, round tables and film screenings. Through these festivals we promote the view that music is a living tradition—an exciting and vibrant part of modern life—and pass on that belief by combining performances with informative lectures and discussions for the general public.

The series is dedicated to Karlheinz Stockhausen (2009), Iannis Xenakis (2011), John Cage (2012), Microtonality (2013), Minimalisms (2014) and Pierre Boulez (2015).
