Products of the Community BFA Exhibition

Six interdisciplinary artists from drawing, painting and sculpture are combining powers in “Products of the Community,” a BFA exhibition presented at Gallery 100. These artists, though diverse in terms of media and approach, each began their college experience within the community college system. Join Adam Sanders (sculpture), Athene Schuck (sculpture), Shannon Scott (drawing), Bethany Shier (drawing), Paris Smith (painting) and Itzel Sucholas (sculpture) for a variety of works derived from their experiences and struggles. The artist's touch on themes such as isolation, redirecting racing thoughts into artwork, expressing pure emotion, reconnecting with childhood and heeding the cries of the earth. Journey through each artist's world and reflect on these deeply personal concepts condensed into sculptures, paintings and drawings. After all, art is meant to be seen and experienced together as a community.

Gallery occupancy is limited to allow for social distancing. Face coverings are required in campus buildings and outdoor spaces. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m.
