Revolution and Identity in Ukraine

Graeme Robertson will give his lecture, "Revolution and Identity in Ukraine."

Graeme Robertson received his doctorate in political science from Columbia University. He now serves as a professor of political science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research focuses on political protests and the dynamics of competition between rulers and their challengers in contemporary authoritarian political systems. Robertson’s most recent book is, "The Politics of Protest in Hybrid Regimes: Managing Dissent in Post-Communist Russia." He received a Ford Foundation grant for Citizen Participation in the Process of Local Governance in the Altai Republic: Assessing the impact of Law #131 on General Organizational Principles for Local Self-Governance in the Russian Federation and a National Science Foundation award for his dissertation research.
