Rocketpalooza - Free Rocket Expo

We are a Fulton Student Organization called the Sun Devil Alka Rocketeers and we are ASU’s official representatives in the national Bayer Alka Rocket Challenge this year!

We are aiming to win the nation public vote by getting 10,000 Facebook likes on our team photo by Nov. 15 and send ASU to the Challenge finals at the Kennedy Space Center. To do so, our team is putting together a major event for the ASU community: Rocketpalooza!

It is ASU’s first ever rocketry expo, held this Friday, Nov. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the SDFC East field for students and families (since its family weekend). We will have food, music, games, and even an AirPods giveaway for attendees. Our goal is to get as many people as possible to this event so they can learn about ASU’s participation in this competition, and vote directly for the university there.

We will be launching our actual competitive rocket at 6:30, 7:00, 7:30 and 8:00 p.m., with the AirPods raffle being drawn at 7:45 p.m.
