UPDATE:

Considering the legitimate public concerns raised by the novel coronavirus, following the recommendations from public health agencies and experts, and out of an abundance of caution, Arizona ARCC Board of Directors decided to postpone the first edition of the Arizona Romanian Film Festival. We are working with our institutional and community partners to reschedule our event for a later date, tentatively set sometime mid-September. Hoping that the situation will improve, we will be able to confirm the new dates at the beginning of April. Tickets already bought remain valid in September; if you cannot make it, you can transfer the ticket to someone else by updating your order information with the new attendee's information. We will continue to keep you informed and, we hope, engaged with Romanian Cinema. We are grateful for your patience and understanding.

The first edition of the Arizona Romanian Film Festival, initiated by the Arizona American-Romanian Cultural Collaborative (Arizona ARCC), partners up with the Making Waves festival to introduce you to the Romanian cinema of the last three decades. We bring to you a special selection of “The Romanians: 30 Years of Cinema Revolution,” an impressive large-scale showcase of post-communist Romania’s film.
