Scanning and Oral History Day

Archivist scans historical documents and photographs

Latinos, African Americans, Asian Americans and the LGBT community make up over 42 percent of Arizona’s population but are only represented in 0-2 percent of known archival collections.

Your story is important. Let’s reclaim and preserve Arizona history for generations. Bring your special photographs and documents, and we’ll scan it for free! Also, learn how to preserve stories and memories using StoryCenter listening stations. This event is free, open to the public and kid-friendly. Food will be provided.
