My lab studies soil mite diversity in Arizona and Sonora, with a focus on oribatid communities in the Madrean Sky Islands.

Nate Upham: "Mammal evolutionary past as a key to modern ecological interactions"
My lab studies how the diversity of living mammals was generated through time, and applies those evolutionary insights to modern problems from biodiversity loss to viral spillover.
