Show Me the Money: How to Get Scholarships

This year's Free Application for Federal Student Aid opened up on Oct. 1. Now it's time to look for other forms of scholarship money! Come learn tips and tricks from folks who have received thousands of dollars in scholarships and from scholarship providers as well.

ASU's First-Year Success Center is hosting this session, which will focus on:

  • where to look
  • what to say
  • how to apply

The session will be repeated on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at ASU's Downtown Phoenix campus, from noon to 1:30 pm, in the San Carlos Room of the Post Office Building.

ASU's First-Year Success Center, a unit of University College, offers free, individualized peer-coaching aimed at ASU freshmen and sophomores and also organizes a range of public programs to support ASU students in their academic journey. With offices on Tempe, Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, and West campuses, their motto is "The right person at the right time can change a life."
