Postponed: 'Skool: A Youth-Led Revolution' — Film Screening and Community Dialogue

This event has been postponed to the fall semester.

Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College and the Teachers College Council are hosting a screening of "Skool: A Youth Led Revolution" about "youth seizing power over their own lives and place in society" for MLFTC students, staff and faculty as well as the broader ASU and K–12 communities. Participate in an open dialogue following the film with a panel of students and educators on student voice and agency through principled innovation.

Light refreshments will be served. The reception begins at 5 p.m. with the screening at 5:45 p.m. Seats are limited, so RSVP today.

About the film

Skool is a documentary film about radically reinventing education by changing the balance of power. The students in Skool take risks, encourage failure, employ design thinking, act with empathy and approach teaching and learning in a new way. These students not only embrace change, they thrive on it. They are focused on creating a more inclusive, equitable and better world. Skool shows why it’s important for youth to be active participants who work in partnership with adults as we think about how education must change to prepare kids for the world of today and tomorrow.
