Summer Health Institute: Camp 1

Summer Health Institute

Interested in becoming a physician, dentist, physical therapist, optometrist, physician assistant, occupational therapist or a healthcare provider?

The Summer Health Institute @ ASU will provide students who have completed their junior year of high school the opportunity to live on the ASU Downtown Phoenix campus for a week while experiencing a variety of interprofessional health-related activities.

This will include 3 hours of daily simulation at Creighton University School of Medicine at Dignity Health's St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center (suturing, IV's, intubation, scrubbing, etc.), interactions with members of the health care team, and tours of health care facilities located within the health corridor of Arizona.

Applications are required. This is for 12th graders who will be graduating in May or June 2019. Open to both residents and non-residents of Arizona.

We will select 24 participants per camp for a total of 48 participants over two weeks.
