Sustenance

Graduate and upper division ASU Sculpture, Woods, Fibers, and intermedia students will address themes of support, help, and strength in a group exhibition entitled Sustenance. Food and drink are regarded as a source of strength and subsistence. But in this exhibition, the concept of sustenance looks beyond provender to include the more general idea of nourishment. Whether the source of sustenance is physical or philosophical, the artists in this exhibition will examine what it is that maintains and provides. Artworks will include sculpture in a variety of mediums as well as interactive pieces. Sustenance will be held at the Harry Wood Gallery from March 7-18.
