Tuesday Morning Music and Tea Presents The Brahms Violin Concerto, with the McLin/Campbell Duo

Join ASU Professor of Violin Katherine McLin in a performance of Brahms' monumental and joyous Violin Concerto, along with her duo partner ASU Professor of Collaborative Piano Andrew Campbell in the role of the orchestra. In this concert with commentary, the McLin/Campbell duo will discuss the creation of this magnificent work, in which Brahms collaborated with his close friend Joseph Joachim, one of the most celebrated violinists of the day. Their complex, stormy and devoted relationship gave rise to one of the greatest works in the repertoire.
