U.S.-Mexico Philanthropy: Expectations and Opportunities for 2017

U.S.- Mexico Philanthrophy: Expectations and Opportunities for 2017

You are cordially invited to participate in "U.S.-Mexico Philanthropy: Expectations and Opportunities for 2017," a discussion about philanthropy. The event aims to explore and understand the challenges and opportunities for collaboration among donors and nonprofits in the border region; discuss how leadership and philanthropy promotes a just, equitable and sustainable society; and to lay a foundation for forming and growing an international community of stakeholders to increase philanthropy between the U.S. and Mexico.

This event will feature welcome remarks from José Antonio Aguayo, deputy consul, consulate general of Mexico in Phoenix, a panel discussion and networking reception. The panel discussion will feature leading community philanthropists dedicated to strengthening the ties between the U.S. and Mexico and will be moderated by Dr. Robert Ashcraft, executive director, ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation and board chair, U.S.-Mexico Border Philanthropy Parternship (BPP).
