Victims, Not Criminals: The Refugee Life — From One Who Has Been There

Bandak Lul's family fled South Sudan when he was a child, and he grew up for 14 years in a refugee camp in Ethiopia.

After being granted refugee status in 2006, he attended high school in Arizona and then graduated from ASU, where he now works with the ASU Office of Sex Trafficking Intervention Research advocating for refugees and against human trafficking. 

Join us on Aug. 30 at the ASU Polytechnic campus where Bandak Lul will tell his story as part of the Social Science Speaker Series in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts. Learn how you can help people uprooted and victimized by violence and human trafficking.
