What Can You Do with the Can-Do Statements?

In this turn-key workshop, curriculum coordinators and lead teachers of world languages will spend a fun-filled yet challenging day with the multiple applications of the National Council of State Supervisors for Languages and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages Can-Do Statements. Whether setting learning targets, designing curriculum, measuring student progress, aligning instructional strategies and resources to outcomes, or communicating expectations to various stakeholders, the Can-Do’s bridge performance and proficiency in communicative language programs. Participants will take away concrete strategies to facilitate local PLCs around the Can-Do’s regardless of prior knowledge or experience.
