The With-Drawing Room Exhibition

The With-Drawing Room Exhibition

Join The Design School's second year and fourth year environmental design students for "The With-Drawing Room." This free event will take place at the Phoenix Art Museum on Friday, Dec. 7, in the Great Hall from 6 to 10 p.m.

The exhibition will showcase the student's work involving memories and memos, manifested in the form of manuscripts, books, models and videos. Each student conducted research of personal memories and current societal conditions, creating a library that attempts to counter the current 'withdrawing' of books from physical reality.

Enjoy a powerful display that speculates on the future of the built environment by re-emphasizing the capacity of physical manuscripts, books and narratives to construct truth and desire into history in an age defined by dematerialized, digital media.
