The 15th Annual ASU Art History Graduate Symposium
The 15th Annual ASU Art History Graduate Symposium, TRANS\art: transborder and multilayered art histories, investigates issues of transborder studies from individuals thinking about ASU's location in the Southwest, as well as more broadly across geographies, temporalities, borderlands, as well as gender, sexual and racial identity.
Please join us at the ASU Art Museum on Nov. 17 as we welcome nine presenters from institutions across the United States to speak on these themes. We also welcome Julio César Morales, Executive Director and Co-Chief Curator at MOCA Tucson, who will be presenting a keynote titled" "La Linea: Art, Politics and Curating in the Borderlands," followed by a conversation with Chelsea Haines, professor at the School of Art.
