Volunteer at a We Don’t Waste Mobile Food Market
Join fellow ASU alumni and friends in supporting food access across the Denver community by volunteering at a We Don’t Waste Mobile Food Market.
Mobile Food Markets are pop-up, no-cost food distribution events open to the public. Held twice per week at various locations throughout Denver, these markets are typically outdoors (and occasionally indoors during inclement weather). All food is provided by We Don’t Waste and distributed directly to community members in need.
Volunteer Responsibilities Include:
- Setting up tents, tables, and market stations
- Assisting participants as they shop using provided wagons
- Supporting food distribution at designated stations
- Breaking down the market and loading equipment after the event
Volunteers who speak Spanish - even at a beginner level - may assist with participant check-in and guest support.
Your time and energy will directly support families facing food insecurity while helping reduce food waste in our community.
