Abriendo Puertas Hispanic Research Center Block Party

The ASU Hispanic Research Center (HRC) will be hosting a one-day event on Thursday, Oct. 17, entitled "Abriendo Puertas HRC Block Party". The purpose of this event is to celebrate the relaunch of the Hispanic Research Center and will consist of an outdoor celebration with multiple activities, including a Puerto Rican food truck, lowrider car show, music (DJ), in-person and virtual art exhibits, as well as a book fair hosted by the ASU Bilingual Press. Event highlight will include Provost Nancy Gonzales offering opening remarks at 11:00 a.m.
