Adobe Creative Cloud: Refining Illustrator and Photoshop for accessibility
Learn how to refine Illustrator and Photoshop assets to meet accessibility expectations in higher education. Explore ways to improve diagrams, charts and images so they’re clearer, more inclusive and effective across platforms. You’ll practice simplifying visuals, strengthening hierarchy and adjusting color and contrast for readability — gaining strategies that ensure your designs support every learner. These design choices help ensure assets remain accessible when used in documents, presentations and digital learning platforms.
What you’ll learn
- Identify common accessibility barriers in Illustrator and Photoshop graphics.
- Refine visual hierarchy to improve clarity and comprehension.
- Adjust color, contrast and detail for accessible design.
- Prepare graphics for accessible use across digital and instructional platforms.
- Evaluate and enhance design assets to support inclusive learning.
