The presentation will review how ADHD develops across the lifespan and provide a number of effective interventions to address its challenges at home, school, and work. Included will be ways to improve executive functioning. John L. Barton, Ph.D., ABPP, is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychology at Arizona State University and Director of the Clinical Psychology Center. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD. Dr. Barton is a diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology with a specialty in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. He was formerly a psychologist at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where he was also the Training Director for the doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship.
