Hijinks and high stakes take center stage in this musical-comedy murder mystery. When an opening night murder makes everyone a suspect, homicide detective and amateur showman Frank Cioffi has these show people toe tapping thisaway and thataway around reasonable doubt to find the real culprit–all while saving their hides and the show. With music and lyrics by legendary team Kander & Ebb (Chicago, Cabaret), this loving homage to Golden Age musicals delivers quick-witted, hilariously memorable characters, and more twists and turns than a Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers number. For the musical fan who loves clever comedy, impressive production numbers, and a little murder on the side, "Curtains" sure is a tough act to follow.
