ASU Sacramento Scholars Information Session

Event description

  • Professional and career development

The ASU Sacramento Scholars program provides students interested in government, public policy, and public service with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience through internships in California’s capital, Sacramento.

Scholars will gain the benefits of working directly with legislators or other California State agencies, including a deeper understanding of policymaking processes, strengthened research skills, and access to networking and professional development opportunities. They will also be part of a cohort of other Sun Devils who share an interest in making a difference through policy action.

ASU will provide a living stipend to assist scholars with their living situation in Sacramento. Need-based scholarships may also be available for other costs.

Sacramento Scholars is open only to students in the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions and to students from The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at ASU.

Join us for this info session to learn more about the Sacramento Scholars Program benefits, application and selection process, and to meet the Sac Scholars admin team! We look forward to seeing you there.
