AZCALL is a conference held each year that brings together computer-assisted language learning (CALL) enthusiasts from around the state and region to share ideas, network and receive valuable feedback on scholarly research, academic papers and major conference presentations which are in progress or preparation.
The conference is open to all at no charge; please register to attend.
This year's AZCALL Conference features talks by Greg Kessler from Ohio University and Okim Kang from Northern Arizona University. Kessler will deliver the opening plenary on immersive and intelligent CALL design and Kang will deliver the keynote on technology assisted L2 pronunciation in teaching and learning. The conference will conclude with a workshop from Luke Plonsky of NAU on ethical research in applied linguistics.
AZCALL is organized by the CALL Club at ASU and sponsored by the Department of English, the School of International Letters and Cultures, the Graduate and Professional Student Association, the Interdisciplinary Committee on Linguistics and The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at ASU.
