The Digital Humanities Initiative, housed in the Lincoln Center for Applied Ethics, is thrilled to announce that our Digital Humanities Coffee Hour will feature the scholarship of Yatee Kapoor.

Building responsible and sustainable AI through the lens of responsibility and sustainability means developing advanced technologies grounded in ethical principles and designed to minimize harm. It requires balancing innovation and accountability, ensuring that AI systems are both efficient and effective. Governments, technology companies, researchers, and users must join hands to address the ethical, environmental, and economic challenges of artificial intelligence.

About the speaker

Yatee Kapoor is a senior at Arizona State University's Barrett the Honors College pursuing a dual degree in Computer Information Systems and Accountancy. Since freshman year, Yatee has been a part of the Lincoln Center of Applied Ethics and has focused on research within the Responsible and Sustainable AI space.
