Juliana Geran Pilon is a Senior Fellow at the Alexander Hamilton Institute for the Study of Western Civilization. Her first book, "Notes From the Other Side of Night: From Communism to a Fragile Freedom", will be published with a new introduction in Sept., 2026. Her previous books include "An Idea Betrayed: Liberalism, Jews, and the American Left", "The Utopian Conceit and the War on Freedom", "The Art of Peace: Engaging a Complex World", and others. She has also taught at the National Defense University, Emory University, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, George Washington University, American University, and the Institute of World Politics.
