Join The Sidney Poitier New American Film School and Milagro Cinemas for a special Hispanic Heritage Month Screening of Guillermo del Toro’s first feature film, the 1992 independent Mexican horror film “Cronos.” Del Toro recontextualizes the vampire mythos in this ghoulish tale set in Mexico City, in which an elderly antiques dealer gets his hands on a mysterious device that provides eternal life, transforming him into an undead monster with an insatiable thirst. This event is part of The Poitier Film School Latino Screening Series, showcasing gems of Latino Cinema in partnership with Milagro Cinemas.
