Mauricio Mejía is an associate professor of design and assistant director of research and knowledge enterprise at The Design School in ASU’s Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. Whether the challenge is rethinking health systems; delivering more relevant, timely and effective interventions; or optimizing human performance across the lifespan, designers, design thinking or design mindset can help experts and people. In this talk, Dr. Mejía will provide alternatives to collaboration between designers, health experts and people. He will also discuss design approaches such as human-centered design, design thinking and participatory design.
College of Health Solutions Innovation Talks are brought to you by the Design and Innovation Studio for Health team. These talks highlight discoveries and new directions within and across the focal areas, centers and cores and emerging initiatives of the College of Health Solutions.
