Costume Shop Open Hours at the ASU MIX Center

Stop by the ASU MIX Center Costume Shop during weekly open hours throughout October.

MIX Community Action Board member Angela Perez will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30–4 p.m. beginning the week of Oct. 5. Drop in to explore the space, ask questions and learn more about the Costume Shop.

MIX Community Action Board Member Angela Perez will also be gathering community input on the types of sewing workshops, activities and resources people would like to see offered in the future.

Angela Perez is a MIX Community Action Board member, local business owner and roller derby skater who has lived in Mesa for 15 years. She owns and operates a small sewing business from her home and trains with Arizona Roller Girls, Mesa's oldest roller derby league.

Angela also has a strong interest in technology and the arts. She joined the MIX Community Action Board in 2026 to use her sewing and skating experience to give back to the local community.
