Whether you are a student considering family law or a practitioner in the field, one of the most challenging parts of the practice can often be understanding the complexity of a families' finances. 

In this series, we will be reviewing each aspect of a families' financial structure to help practitioners understand the complexity and creativity that comes about with financial division of assets ad debts. 

Led by a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, this training will go beyond the basic agreements of division and discuss the creative options employed by alternative dispute resolution professionals to help clients reach settlement.  The series will cover the following:

Sept. 12 - The Family Home: Creative options for handling today's high interest rates, buyout options, personal property division and more.

TBD - Retirement Division: Types of retirement accounts, division implications, creative solutions for division, importance of taxability and more.
