Are you looking for a responsible way to dispose of your old or broken electronic devices? Do you want to contribute to environmental sustainability and address data security concerns associated with e-waste disposal? Join the Zero Waste Department for the Campus E-waste Collection Event.
Drop off your e-waste at the bins located at:
- Taylor Mall (University Center and Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication)
- Beus Center for Law and Society
- College of Health Solutions
By participating in this event, you not only help reduce the environmental impact of electronic waste but also ensure the secure disposal of your devices. Electronic waste, or e-waste, contains valuable materials that can be recycled while preventing harmful substances from ending up in landfills.
Accepted items:
- Batteries
- Cellphones
- Circuit board
- Cords/wires
- Desktop computer
- Keyboards
- Laptops
- Mice
- Modems/routers
- Motors
- Printers
- Scanners
- Tablets
- Video game equipment
Not Accepted:
- Bluray/DVD/VHS players
- Data storage - floppy disk, SIM cards, tapes
- Fire alarm equipment
- Items with an ASU property tag
- Large appliances
- Small household items
- Speakers/microphones
- Televisions or CRT monitors
