Everything is (Not) Connected: Big Bend and Ecological Individuation with Cary Wolfe

More than ever we find ourselves immersed in posthuman ecologies–afloat amid a universe of natural and technological things working at different scales and temporalities. To help us understand what that means and how to orient ourselves, Cary Wolfe will give a talk on systems theory, philosophy and environmentalism with a focus on ecologies of the Southwest and Texas.

About the speaker:

Among other titles, Cary Wolfe is a founding figure in posthumanities and series editor of Posthumanities, the most successful academic series at the University of Minnesota Press.

This year’s Critical Theory Series keynote is dedicated to the memory of Zachary Alan Keebaugh and Zachary Ryan Thomas
