Expanding the Impact of Community- ASU Partnerships to Address Homelessness 2024

Event description

  • Community service
  • Free
  • Open to the public

Action Nexus of Arizona State University (ASU) at Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions and the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU invite you to a workshop to discuss ways to expand the impact of partnerships to address homelessness, especially those in collaboration with ASU students and faculty.

We will be highlighting some current partnerships, such as projects by the Action Nexus interns at Key Campus and some great work by a Coding for Good class which works in partnership with local non-profits. The College of Law will be sharing work in partnership with Nursing and CASS regarding cognitive impairment in the elder unsheltered population, the Academy for Justice’s round table discussions pertaining to the decriminalization of homelessness, and the Arizona Law Center’s legal services within the law school.
