Fellowships for Dissertations: Design to Completion

This information session will provide an overview of competitive fellowships that can be used to support different steps of the dissertation process, such as: research design, data collection and analysis, and writing the dissertation. We will explore awards such as the Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Innovation Fellowship, the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program, the Google PhD Fellowship, the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, the AAUW International Fellowship, the Chateaubriand Fellowship, the Boren Fellowship, and the AAUW American Dissertation Fellowship. The presentation includes options for domestic and international students conducting doctoral-level research in areas such as STEM, the humanities, social and behavioral sciences, and health.
