'Flatland' Book Club with John Plotz

Join Professor John Plotz, the featured speaker for the ASU Department of English's 2023 Fletcher Lecture, in a discussion of the ninteenth-century novel "Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions" (1884) by Edwin Abbott Abbott (that is not a typo!). The book is available for reading on Project Gutenberg and the Internet Archive and for listening on Librivox. The book club will take place in Ross-Blakley Hall, room 324, from 10:45 a.m.-noon on Monday, Oct. 2, 2023.
