Free Fridays - Marvel Rivals

Join the ASU Esports Lounge and the Friends of Esports club for our first ever Marvel Rivals tournament! We will be hosting a bracket style event on Friday, January 23rd at 6 p.m. The top 3 teams will receive a Marvel Rivals inspired, 3D printed trophy!

Don't have a team? Don't worry! Our staff will help you find a team on the day of the tournament. Feel free to register as a full 6 stack, a partial team or a free agent. Join us in-person at the ASU Esports Lounge or online!

Bracket

We will be holding the tournament as a double elimination bracket. The bracket will be randomly seeded when check-in is completed.

Matches

The number of maps will be determined based on the number of teams remaining in the tournament. 
Upper and Lower Brackets pre-Quarterfinals
Best of 1 map
Upper and Lower Brackets Quarterfinals onward
Best of 3 maps

Map Selection

Each team will trade banning map options until there are 2 remaining. Before the draft, a coin flip will determine which team picks from the last 2 map options. In best of 3 matches, the first map is a coin flip and then alternates from there. In the case that the chosen map is from the Convergence or Convoy set, the team not making the final pick chooses who will attack and defend.

All maps from the Convergence, Convoy and Domination set are in play and allowed to be chosen.
