The Future of Energy Security: Crisis or Opportunity?

Event description

  • Open to the public
  • Sustainability

Energy security has reemerged over the past year as a major focus of geopolitical concern, globally and locally. Extraordinary developments in energy supply chains, energy technologies, and energy demand are transforming how the world thinks about energy in relationship to economic growth, national security, and thriving and sustainable planetary futures. This workshop will launch a yearlong series of discussions of the meaning and implication of these developments and the risks and opportunities they provide for energy systems and the economies and societies that depend on, with the ultimate goal of planning a major event on the topic in Spring 2027.
