Join the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations (PCFR) and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University for a timely and thought-provoking conversation on the evolving role of journalism in an increasingly fragmented global landscape.
This program will feature a panel of international journalists and strategic communicators who are current participants in the prestigious Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. Spending 10 months at the Cronkite School, these fellows examine the foundations of the American free press while bringing professional experience from their home countries across the globe.
As media systems confront political polarization, technological disruption, censorship, and declining public trust, our panelists will share their perspectives on the challenges and responsibilities facing cross-border communication today. Together, they will explore how reporting across different regions is adapting to fragmentation—both within societies and between nations—and what this means for global understanding and democratic resilience.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to engage with global voices and gain insight into the future of journalism and strategic communication in a rapidly changing world.
