Global Literacy Masterclass
Hosted by:
Ambassador Edward B. O'Donnell, Co-founder of the Leadership, Diplomacy and National Security Lab and Professor of Practice, School of Politic and Global Studies
Explore how global trade directly affects American jobs, industries, and communities. This live, interactive course—led by Ambassador Edward O'Donnell—equips learners to assess trade policy and its impact on workers, consumers, and the U.S. economy. This masterclass empowers learners to explore the connections between exports, imports, job creation, and rising standards of living. Participants will examine the role of U.S. trade in supporting both domestic prosperity and global economic partnerships.
Designed for professionals, students, and community members from any sector, this course helps learners understand their stake in foreign policy decisions and engage meaningfully in ongoing national and global trade dialogues.
Offered through ASU’s Leadership, Diplomacy and National Security (LDNS) Lab, this masterclass also counts toward the Global Literacy and Impact Certificate and/or Practical Diplomacy and International Leadership Certificate—credentials you can add to your LinkedIn profile, résumé, or CV.
