An introductory workshop for faculty who are new to Harmonize.

This session is reserved for ASU faculty, staff and teaching assistants.

This workshop will be held online.

Harmonize in Canvas: See What It Can Do and Where It Fits

In this session, you’ll join the Harmonize staff to learn what the tool has to offer and how to use it in Canvas. This session provides a concise overview of Harmonize’s major capabilities and the different kinds of teaching problems they can address. Participants see examples involving Discussions, Social Reading, Peer Review, Individual Assignments, Polls, and rich feedback workflows.

A short poll or scenario activity helps participants identify which capabilities are most relevant to their teaching.

Participants leave able to:

• Describe the primary Harmonize capabilities
• Identify how Harmonize supports several different teaching workflows
• Identify one or two areas they may want to explore
• Locate the next appropriate session or resource

Target Audience: ASU Educators and Designers.

• Participants will attend remotely via Zoom (a link to Zoom room will be emailed the morning of the training).
• An ASU Zoom account will be required to join this session.

• Time is based on Arizona time.
