Presenter: Katie Preston, MSW - Student, ASU School of Social Work and Training and Program Manager for the National Child Abuse Hotline
This training provides a practical introduction to risk assessment and safety planning with survivors of domestic violence. The training focuses on core safety-plannings skills and a foundational approach to safety planning across different practice settings.
Katie Preston is a current ASU MSW student. They are the Training and Program Manager for the National Child Abuse hotline and have a decade of experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse in crisis settings.
Certificates of completion will be emailed to registrants post workshop.
ASU Tucson Students: Talk to your field instructors about incorporating the trainings into your learning contract for your internship!
Certificates are great resume boosters! They will not only enhance your professional skills as a social worker but also increase your marketability upon graduation.
