Learn how to choose a conference, submit a strong proposal, design a powerful poster and make the most of your time at the 2026 American Association for the Advancement of Science Annual Meeting in Phoenix.

Whether it’s your first time submitting to a conference or you want to improve your skills, these workshops will get you conference-ready. Open to all majors — especially students in STEM and social sciences.

Where do I start? This first workshop will focus on choosing a conference, the conference proposal process, eligibility criteria, timelines, writing an abstract, submission guidelines and evaluation rubrics.

The online sessions will be recorded and sent to all registered participants.
