Humanities Institute Proposal Writing Academy

Event description

  • Academic events
  • Free
  • Professional and career development

Writing a research grant or fellowship proposal requires an understanding of your funding source and the fit between their goals and objectives and your project. Successful proposals include an understanding of the target funding agency, planning a budget that aligns with the scope of the work, communicating with funding source or program directors, and learning to articulate your research to audiences outside of your area of expertise. This series of workshops is for faculty members or graduate students who are new to or seasoned in the grant writing process and are ready to take strategic steps in pursuing extramural funding for research, teaching, or service projects. The program will take place during fall semester 2024.
